Global Citizenship Education and Teacher Training

Our objectives

Our objectives

The project aims to analyse teacher training programmes in Spanish universities in relation to the presence of GCE, delving into the concepts and ways in which GCE is developed in teaching-learning processes: in students preparing to become future teachers, in teachers working in teacher training, in practicing teachers and in school management teams. We also want to learn about and disseminate successful experiences in the development of GCE in classrooms by developing good practice guides.

The research team is made up of professors with extensive and proven experience in the development of research tasks in the socio-educational area belonging to the universities of Valencia, Pablo Olavide, Granada, Complutense de Madrid, UNED and A Coruña. The international work team is made up of specialist professors of recognized prestige and background in socio-educational research and in the reflection and practices of Education for Global Citizenship from the universities of UCLA (USA), Alberta (Canada), Gävle (Sweden), UNAM and Puebla (Mexico), Campinas (Brazil), Valparaiso (Chile) and Buenos Aires (Argentina).

In this section we collect all the results of the project resulting from the scientific activities in which we participate (congresses, scientific conferences, seminars...) as well as the activities of knowledge transfer, dissemination and dissemination of the results.
