The EDCIMU Project Collaborates in the 6th International Seminar on Human Rights, Migration, and Gender

On June 1st and 2nd, 2026, the Pablo de Olavide University hosted the 6th edition of the International Seminar on Human Rights, Migration, and Gender: A Transnational Perspective from Intercultural Dialogue, Inclusion, and Democratic Cohesion. The event was organized by the Research Group on Socio-Educational Action (GIAS-HUM 929) and was supported by the R&D Project "Education for Global Citizenship and Teacher Training (EDCIMU)."

As can be seen in the academic program, the seminar included various sessions aimed at discussing and exploring topics directly related to the project's objectives. Within this framework, the discussion "From global citizenship, human rights, and intercultural dialogue to university action: socio-educational transfer and inclusion in contexts of migration, gender, and diversity," led by Ms. Tania Fátima Gómez Sánchez, from the University of A Coruña, and Ms. Rocío Rodríguez Casado, from the Pablo de Olavide University, provided an explicit presentation of the EDCIMU project, as well as some of the progress made to date.
