VI WCCES Simposium “Renewing the Social Contract: Navigating for Possible Futures”
Members of the EDCIMU were present at the VI World Council of Comparative Education Societies (WCCES) Symposium, which, under the evocative title "Renewing the Social Contract: Navigating for Possible Futures," took place in Lisbon, from July 16th to 18th, at the Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa, Portugal.
This symposium, which featured António Nóvoa with an opening lecture of the same title as the symposium, and Professor António Teodoro, who closed the symposium with "The Global Governance of Education: Where we stand and new research issues in Comparative Education," featured academic presence from the EDCIMU research team. Thus, on July 17, the speakers, in order of appearance, were:
Adrián Neubauer Esteban and María-Jesús Martínez-Usarralde, with "When Citizenship is Compared: Visions and Citizenship in the Narratives of International Organizations."
Tania F. Gómez Sánchez, Teresa Rebolledo Gómez, Rocío Rodríguez-Casado, and Teresa Terrón Caro, with "Global Citizenship Training in Higher Education: A Case Study in Spanish Universities."
