XIX National Congress of Comparative Education

At the XIX National Congress of Comparative Education, "Glocal Education and New Training Spaces," held at the Autonomous University of Madrid and organized by the Spanish Society for Comparative Education (SEEC) from November 5 to 7, 2025, the symposium "Teacher Training in Education for Global Citizenship" was presented.

The symposium addressed the essential role that education for global citizenship and sustainable development must play in the current global context, especially from the perspective of teacher training itself. It delved into the key teleological, theoretical, and practical aspects of teacher training, particularly those related to Education for Global Citizenship from a comparative, international, and supranational perspective [1].
